So today is Father's Day and I want to give a special shout out to all of the important men in my life. First to my dad, which this is the first Father's Day I haven't spent with him, but miss and can't wait to get home and celebrate with a beer! Second my gramps love you dearly and wish I could be there with the family to celebrate with you all. Finally Papa Pete, I only knew you for three months, but I know you are up there watching over me everyday, especially with all the work I'm doing here in Peru. Miss you all the time!

Instead of being with him, I spent the day at the BEACH!!!!! It was amazing! The sun, sand, and warmth were wonderful and relaxing. None of us wanted to leave. We had some ceviche, which is even more amazing here than it is at home. Here in Peru they have a signature drink called Pisco Sours which are amazing but dangerous. We were warned that by the fourth we'd be on the floor, so we stuck to two! But they are amazing and we are all buying bottles of pisco to bring back and make them in the US!
